About

Philippa Bebbington, MS, RD, has been a Registered Dietitian since 1996, following her graduation from Rutgers University and UMDNJ in New Jersey. She began her career as a Registered Dietitian and program director for the Nutrition Program for the Elderly, overseeing 26 nutrition sites and managing the nutrition component of Meals on Wheels. With the birth of her first daughter, Philippa transitioned from her full-time role as program director to join her mother's real estate team, while still consulting for Meals On Wheels. This shift provided Philippa with greater flexibility to care for her growing family, including the arrival of her second daughter two years later. Over the next few years, Philippa served as the director of a statewide obesity prevention campaign for children at Rutgers University; worked as a consulting dietitian for recreation services at Rutgers; and engaged in private practice as a consulting dietitian.

Despite her thriving career in consulting and real estate, Philippa faced immense challenges when the stress of divorce and the loss of her parents took a toll on her health. Within the span of 18 months, Philippa underwent multiple surgeries to address a cancerous tumor in her eyelid, which had also affected her tear ducts. Additionally, she received diagnoses of an autoimmune disease, osteoarthritis, and was pushed into early menopause. Determined to regain control of her health, Philippa delved into extensive research to try to better understand the complexities of her body's condition. This journey led her to a profound understanding of inflammation, hormone imbalances, gut health, and immunity. More importantly, it paved the way for her healing journey. Today, armed with her expertise in nutrition, Philippa is committed to empowering as many individuals as possible on their own paths to wellness.

Philippa has remarried and now shares a vibrant, "busy" blended family with her husband, who also works in the medical field. Together, they nurture their five amazing children (as well as their 2 dogs and cat); enjoy traveling & exploring new destinations, and savor the pleasure of good food!

Why I'm so passionate...

In 2020, I was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor of the eyelid. Unbeknownst to me, the skin cancer I had (years earlier) had not been entirely removed, letting it eventually infiltrate deep into my tear ducts. It took three surgeries to reconstruct my eyelid and repair my tear ducts… and to become cancer-free. Simultaneously, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that changed my body completely. Oh…and I was thrust into early menopause!!! I was determined not to live on medications, or in pain, so I went back to the research to figure out how to heal my body. That journey led me back to school, where I earned an integrative nutrition certification, and learned how to heal my mind, body, and soul!

My passion is helping others create a healthy eating plan and lifestyle that works “for them” and is sustainable! It is my goal to help others create the healthiest version of themselves….and I can’t wait to help you too!
